Here is the third trend in this four part series.
Trend #3: Greater Data Transparency
Connecting suppliers, customers and other logistics operators is essential for creating transparency of data that will benefit everyone in your supply chain. Predictive analysis works best with the most expansive set of data, so the future means integrating supply chain applications among all these different partners so you can get the most comprehensive view of the supply chain processes available.
In this scenario, everyone plays a role in reducing risk and identifying problems. No one operates within their own silo but instead is part of a complete whole that grows stronger through a greater exchange of data. Service will increase, breakdowns will be avoided, and delivery times will be more on point.
Stay tuned for next week’s trend as we talk about the delivery landscape!
